The main aim of TAMS is provide farmers with an opportunity to invest in their farm enterprise to allow for future development of Irish agriculture.
Adequate funding for assets such as construction of new animal housing, nutrient storage facilities as well as fencing and so much more are inclusive of this funding. Ranking of applications will take place on a tranche basis. Unsuccessful applications will be carried over to the following tranche.
TAMS can be a fantastic contribution towards on-farm improvements such as construction of wire fences or more extensive investments such as improved animal housing or animal handling facilities.
𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
Individual farmers can apply for grant aid of up to 40% on investments up to a maximum of €80,000 – an individual payment of €32,000.
For Young Farmers who have completed their Green Certificate Level 6 – avail of 60% grant aid.
Payment will then be issued within 3 weeks once it has been determined that work has been completed.
